Christmas Tree Festival - 12 and 13 December 2015

Once again the Christmas Tree Festival at St Laurence's on 12 and 13 December was a big success. The overall winner was 'I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas' entered by Riverside Florists. For details of winners in each category and also raffle prizewinners, please see the February 2016 Parish Magazine, available in church and from local newsagents.

St Laurence's Day Bring and Share Lunch - 11 August 2013

To celebrate St Laurence's Day and the recent ordination of Revd David Benskin as Deacon, a bring and share lunch was held on 11th August in the Church Hall. Great food and good company was enjoyed by all.

Christmas Fayre - 1 December 2012

Some photographs from our very successful Christmas Fayre held at St Laurence Church. Activities included Christmas shopping, wonderful food, seasonal refreshments and Father Christmas!


Harvest Lunch - 30 September 2012

A very successful Harvest Lunch was held in the Church Hall on Sunday 30th September, following the Group Harvest Celebration of Holy Communion in St Laurence's Church. The event was enjoyed by young and old.


Bring and Share Lunch - 12 August 2012

St Laurence's Day is on 10th August, and to celebrate our patronal festival in 2012 a Bring and Share Lunch was held in the Church Hall after the service on Sunday 12 August.

It was a jolly occasion and we look forward to celebrating Harvest in a similar way at the end of September.
